Mission Week
Program Overview
Mission Week is a week-long work camp for high school aged youth. Some youth already feel an undeniable call from God to go out and minister to God’s people. At the very heart of this mission week is prayer, sacrifice, evangelization, service and a deep love for Mary.
Teens will be given the opportunity to learn from a mentor (professionals who volunteer their time time, talent and experiences during this week with the youth), spread the Gospel with the homebound, sick or impoverished, and grow through dynamic evening programming and faith formation of the OLMC missionary team!
Opportunities for the sacraments and adoration, along with working alongside Fr. Joe Freedy and Fr. Adam Potter are just a few of the highlights.
If your middle/high school aged youth is willing to accept Jesus’ invitation to serve others and also willing to give up some of the comforts of home, then this mission is a perfect week to join OLMC!

FAQs
Understanding our Tiered Pricing and Additional Scholarship Availability
For all camp programs, we offer a voluntary three-tiered pricing model based on the needs of our families. This program is completely confidential and in no way affects the quality of the camp experience. Price selection is done strictly on an honor system. If you can afford to pay the full fee (Tier 2) or add additional support to sustain our scholarship fund (Tier 3), please do so. If you cannot, simply select the right price for your family’s circumstances and/or reach out to us about additional scholarships. You’ll be given the option to choose your rate for yourself during the registration process.
- Tier 1 is a subsidized rate, funded by support from donors to the greatest extent possible, and provided for families whose children would not otherwise be able to attend camp.
- Tier 2 represents the actual cost of camp operations, including well-trained staff and long-term wear, tear and depreciation. If you are able to pay this rate, please do so.
- Tier 3 reflects your personal discernment that you’re in a financial situation that allows you to help us make Catholic camp more attainable for all youth and is a commitment to do so. To learn more about additional ways to support our scholarship fund, contact us at camp@drybonespgh.org
Additional Scholarships: We are very grateful that, through the support of grant money from the Diocese of Pittsburgh and DBM donors, we are currently poised to offer scholarships making it such that no camper is left behind. We believe every child should get to have a fun, adventurous week away with the Lord in the midst of holy community, so please reach out to us for more information if tier 1 doesn’t offer enough financial assistance for your family or for someone else you know wants to come to camp.
